I got a copy of Star Wars: Battlefront for PS2 for my birthday on saturday, and so far am very happy with the one player version. Droidekas kick ass, and are a lot of fun to roll out if a little tricky to corner with.

Sully, you'll have to come by and check it out in May. :)

It's official... Jill and I are engaged!
Boston Bruins President Harry Sinden today issued the following statement regarding NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman's announcement earlier today:
"Today, the Board of Governors confirmed that NHL teams will not play until the current Collective Bargaining Agreement is replaced. As a result, the opening of training camps will be delayed and the start of the 2004-05 regular season is in jeopardy. The League has our full support as we take this difficult but necessary step toward creating a new economic system that will ensure that our fans will continue to enjoy Bruins hockey at an affordable price."

Wow, it's kind of like visiting a house that you once used to live in and has recently been abandoned around here... It's lost your smell but vague memories and a certian nuance has you intrigued wanting to 'spend some time'.

I am now down to one final assignment... unfortunately it's huge (around 8000 words) and needs to be completed while I am on placement... its a good thing I haven't started then huh? Oops.

On the upside my Nan is doing better. Her vision will never be the same and she has no interest in doing her physio to improve her facial muscles but hey... what can you do.

It is just a month until James and Laura's wedding. I can feel the anticipation running through Laura's veins from here. I really wish I could be there but I know somebody will make sure some photos make it to me and maybe even a video clip?????

I applied for some jobs today too. Funny thing actually as I originally attached the wrong CV to the application to MMH. Ok - not so funny. SHit my heart was in my throat while I was kept on hold trying desperately to contact someone in Human Resources to amend my error. Luckily I got in touch with a very sympathetic human being who made my life incredibly simple and ensured I wouldn't make a complete arse of myself. I think my subconscious sadistic self is truly out to get me... even in writing this I checked again for the millionth time today that I did send the right one... argh.

I'll be on placement there as on next Monday for five weeks so hopefully seeing my face everyday will stir them into action and I'll get the job with little hassle...(knock wood). And all going well I will have the go ahead to book tickets home.

Oh - almost forgot did you see Batman on top of Buckingham Palace... the old style Adam West type of Batman... funny shit. He seemed to break security no worries. It was funny to see on the TV. 3rd top new story on the newsout here! That has to be good.

Well that's it for now... your monthly edition of Leah weekly. ---- that doesn't make any sense by I write for academics now... Anyhoo. Gots to go.

Also - I would ike to state that USHER is not all that and he really needs to get a clue, as does it seem half of America. But I digress.

The Comics Talk is reloading.
The Smoking Puck is smoldering.
